Looking a little boxy .......lol

I've been playing for 30 years and I'm pretty damn good but have recently realised I'm left eye dominant so have been trying to adjust my throw slightly in the closed season... I reckon it might be easier to get a surgeon to swap my eyes over!

I ordered a granboard a week ago. Never played soft tip. Looks like the most fun ever. I’m sitting here waiting for the delivery a week later.

u know what interesting in darts, people have unique style of throwing and thats what i like playing darts

I’m a muscle memory dude so more the merrier. Practice works. I lead a life not conducive to playing league darts or tournaments but I love to play. What’s worked for me as well is having a nemesis. Found it. Dart counter bot. Level 8. Perfect for how I shoot. Win lose win lose win lose. If I miss I loose. Perfect. Good video. Ps. Soft tip helps with confidence and that’s worth a lot. #bigtriples! lol.

Get a shirt with a pocket and you will throw better

granboard has a 13.5 inch option which mirrors bristleboard segments. You can play others who use the regular granboard. It also will make playing in a soft tip board feel like all the segments are gigantic

My first nemesis was a former professional darts player Craig Cook. He just didnt know. He motivated me to put some time and practice to get better. Ive never beat him 1v1 but i won a team game in a random tournament. To hear him say you shot great tonight made me feel good about the time i was putting in and actually seeing results in the blind draw tournaments

So I got a dart question for you, how do you decide what grip, stance , and follow through works best for you ? I've only been throwing about 4 years and in my head I'm still in the experimental stages looking for these to be more consistent, whether it is new darts new grip new stance new follow through new place /board ???? Because I feel comfy in the basement throwing but stepping out to different boards not so comfy nerves and anxiety if I could lock in on these and repeat with consistency honestly I think that would help tremendously instead of questioning them all the time???

I have cross dominance. My right eye is dominat but my every day tasks are half left and half right. For most I can compensate. It gets tricky if I was to shoot a rifle. It feels confortable left handed but my eye is right. Iswitch sides and just hold it steady. The really tricky one is shooting pool. Again left feels comfortable. Problem is controlling the stick right handed. Feels like trying to write with the opposite hand

Just back into after many year layoff. What’s helped me the most is I found the right level shooting against a solid bot. At level 8 on dart counter gives me a solid fast game with a general avg game give or take a dart or two around 24 darts. That’s helped quickly with redeveloping consistency with competition that is reasonably for my level. It’s been very helpful!

Thanks for the video .... makes alot of sense to me, my issue is I work nights, probably on average 45 -60 hours a week. I would throw league on Sundays but took the summer off so now I'm squeezing in 30 45 min in before I go in to work .... just using the granboard practice games and maybe a match or 2 depending on how practice went .....lol

bro that hand hole object just doesnt work for me, every time i do that, different eye comes out as dominant.. is there possibility i dont have dominant eye ?
